Forage Culture is fully committed to the safety and health of our employees, contractors, hosts, and participants. We will operate in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines as well as taking additional steps to promote safety. All participants are required to adhere to covid safety guidelines, including social distancing and facial covering regulations.
Guides will perform at-home temperature checks before conducting classes. Any guide who registers a fever or any other symptom of illness (including but not limited to: loss of smell or taste, fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing) will not be conducting classes. An alternate guide will be substituted, or the class will be rescheduled for a later date if no other guides are available.
Guides will be tested for covid-19 regularly, and Forage Culture will notify all participants who came in contact with the guide between tests if a guide tests positive.
Guides will encourage spacing of classes and events.
Sharing of items to smell or touch will be done following a distancing protocol.
Items to be smelled will be broken up or have multiples picked to reduce risk of infection.
Customers with disabilities that prevent the wearing of face masks are strongly encouraged to wear alternative facial coverings including face shields, and must engage in social distancing of at least 6 ft from other participants at all times.
Shared materials will be disinfected between uses per CDC guidelines.
Masks and sanitizer can be provided in the event that participants do not have their own, or their own mask fails, however participants are strongly encouraged to bring and wear their own.
We require that if you have signed up for a class and are experiencing any symptoms, have tested positive, or are in contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19, you contact us and do not attend the class.
