Other classes that will appear on the schedule throughout the year in the Flowers & Self-Care Experience theme:
Flower Food - $25
Flowers are not always sweet. Sometimes they’re spicy. Sometimes they’re bitter. Just because someone put a beautiful flower on a cookie doesn’t mean the cookie tastes good! Learn about a handful of seasonal flowers, and some delicious ways to integrate them into your cooking. Terra Farms & Field will have several teaching gardens specifically for this class. Flowers will be seasonal and dependant on Mother Nature.
Bitters & Elixirs - $25
More flavorful than a tincture but just as good for you, learn the basics of making your own bitters & elixirs using alcohol, vinegar or glycerin as your base, and the ratios we recommend to start with. We’ll discuss a few of the precautions you need to take since some items can become toxic when processed in the wrong manner, and we’ll give you recipes for seasonal, supportive, and downright tasty options.
