Wednesday August 18th from 7-9pm This class is designed for those encountering fungi from a speciality market to goodies you've gathered from outside. Guidebooks & normal cookbooks alike don't always tell you everything you need to know about picking, cleaning, and eating your wild mushrooms. We'll talk about cleaning techniques, how to store wild mushrooms, and importantly, how to cook them. Storing can be done with drying, pickling, & freezing, and we'll do demos of two beloved mushroom techniques: the sautee and the braise.
