Every ticket comes with a complimentary shipped package of dried bee balm leaves & flowers to use in your cooking. The last day to purchase will be midnight Thursday, September 2nd, and packages will be shipped on Friday, September 3rd along with all cooking recipes and directions. Class Outline: - Intro to Wild Bergamot - Learn about several varieties, historical significance, and resources for growing your own. In addition, we'll teach you how to harvest, store, & utilize your bergamot including what signs to look out for. - Parfait Dessert - Using the flowers only, we'll create a layered parfait of scarlet bergamot ice and raspberry cream. This technique can be applied to a wide variety of flavors, and you'll love learning this easy & visually stunning technique. - Eggplant Rollatini - Infusing both the tomato sauce and eggplant with bergamot spice will give you a full experience of the flavors & aroma. We'll teach you the shortcuts of this rolled eggplant dish that comes out picture-perfect. All instructions will be emailed out the same day your items are shipped: Friday, September 3rd. Perfect for families, friends learning to cook together, and couples wanting a fun date night, we'll introduce you to a native spice that will brighten your world.
