Service Description
Eating healthier is easy with wild foods, and we’ll share with you the best superfoods, from protein-packed greens to juicy antioxidants. This class will relate what you see to common grocery store items through sight, smell or taste, and we’ll briefly discuss nutritional benefits and history of the plants we see along with simple cooking ideas. We’ll talk about the pros and cons of picking from different areas to help you understand more about the food you’re eating and, depending on the host site, you might even be allowed to take home a basket for your evening meal! Intro classes cover safety, plant ID skills, and wild food uses that are applicable to all foraging, with a focus on high-nutrient superfoods.
