Service Description

Sunflower seed “hummus” (VG, K) Mushroom “scallops” with infused and thickened sauce (VT, K, VGO) Hosted by Julian Fortu, owner of Arcadia Venture foraged foods and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, as well as home chef and shortcut expert, Elizabeth Davidson. This class will start with making an infused and thickened cream sauce using some chef secrets from Julian. He’ll explore a few options for infusions as well, including what to do with your leftovers! Julian will also walk us through the perfect sunflower “hummus”, showing us the entire time how to logically plan your time in the kitchen as we finish up our “scallops” and plating for our eye-catching meal. We encourage you to take photos of your final products in natural light and to share your new skills with a friend. The “hummus” make excellent drop off gifts for friends and family as they will keep for 5 days or more in the fridge.
